Non-thermal application of physical plasma is rapidly gaining importance for the future therapy and prevention of chronic inflammatory diseases and tumors. In this project, we work on the characterization and identification of underlying molecular modes of action and the clinical application of this innovative non-invasive therapy option. Particulary, we focus on the prevention and treatment of gynecological cancers, precancerous lesions as well as the application benign gynecological surgery.
